The Monthly Milestone (October 2023) - Plus a link to my interview with Running Tales
Thank you to my most generous supporters
Greetings to My Readers and a Special Thanks to My Most Generous Supporters
I’m just over two months into my journey on Substack and things are progressing smoothly. Articles are continued to be uploaded on a weekly basis, (Wednesdays at 17:00 JST).
Interview with Running Tales
Towards the end of October I had an interview with Craig over at
. The link to that interview can be found below.https://runningtales.podbean.com/e/anthony-swain-the-ultra-runner-who-started-jogging-to-beat-a-back-injury-and-the-pandemic/
I’m now including Running Tales in my recommendations. If you are interested in my content because of the running side of things you will certainly like what they are doing over at running tales. Please check them out.
October Milestone Housekeeping
I’m continuing to keep my articles on Substack free, with the exception of these monthly milestone posts. Paid subscribers aside, I’m totally self funded with all the activities that go on. Costs for race entries, transport, accommodation, and (one day) a new sword add up. I’m truly grateful to everyone who is able to financially support my work with a subscription, and also those who have sent me one off donations.
I have been using Buy Me a Coffee for people who want to send tips but it’s been pointed to me that sometimes payments are rejected. So I’m including a PayPal link from now on because it is more stable and reliable.
The content of this monthly update is summarized below but the details will only be visible to my paid subscribers.
In this Monthly Milestone I’m going to be covering the following:
Substack Stats
Monthly Training Stats
Race/Event Results (including the Yokohama Marathon)
Reading List (what I’m currently reading)
Final Thoughts and Hopes for November
Everything beyond this point will be for paid subscribers only. The information will be nicely set out in one place for them but if anyone has any burning questions please feel free to shoot me an email.
