The Monthly Milestone (February 2024) - Schedule/Content update and Referrals

Six months into my Substack journey and we are almost at 500 subscribers! Thank you to everyone who has subscribed so far! I have been uploading articles on a weekly basis with the occasional bonus article thrown in.
Articles are uploaded on Wednesdays at 17:00 JST with a monthly milestone post to give a few updates at the beginning of each month.
Schedule/Content update
Before I started on Substack I was uploading articles to my own website. You may have noticed that the domain of this website recently updated to bunburyoudou.com. This was the domain of my old site which I am in the process of shutting down since I wasn’t using it to do anything but blogging. Substack is a superior platform for this so I’ll be sticking around here.
I still have a few articles in my archive that I don’t want to lose. I am in the process of updating them and uploading them to Substack but this is a time consuming process.
My backlog has some martial arts articles and some race reports. For the time being and until I can clear my backlog I’ll be alternating weeks between race reports and other topics. I’ll be running the Challenge Fuji 5 Lakes Ultramarathon in April and ideally I want all of my race report backlog on Substack BEFORE I run this so future race reports will be in chronological order. (March 6th will likely be a martial arts article).
February Milestone Housekeeping
To my free subscribers, I realize these posts can be a little tiresome due to the lack of content. I’m grateful to all of my subscribers and I do my best to keep all of the main content free. I just upload these posts as a bonus to say thank you to the people who are choosing to help me with my activities.
Speaking of which, on February 11th I ran I the Michikusa Dragon 50km thanks to the support of my paid subscribers. This was first event I entered that was made possible thanks to the support I received through this blog, so thank you to all who contributed. If you missed that report it can be found here.
