Awesome effort and great write up, I read this as I am heading to Hiroshima to do my first trail run in Japan 🇯🇵, nothing like yours though. I really want to do KAI 70 but this has inspired me to do the 62 km version of this first next year ☺️ (Its hard to get ITRA races in NZ to qualify for KAI)
Thank you very much! I wish you a great run over in Hiroshima. I have been considering setting the KAI as a future goal, but as you mentioned, it's difficult to get ITRA points. If I run any races that give out ITRA points I'll certainly write it up.
As for this race, the 62 km division of this one looks like a lot of fun. It would be much lower pressure than the 118 or 100 km division of this one so you could take your time and really enjoy it.
Looking forward to your write up on KaI or maybe even lining up next to you 😉 tomorrow's race is actually an attempt to get ITRA points too, seems I will be the only non Japanese entrant as it was only on the Japanese version of runmernet and mine was the only non local sounding Kanji name

Thank you very much! This was a fun one to write. :)
